Wallis averaged 21.5 points and seven assists in Washington University's two road victories as the Bears moved into sole possession of first place in the UAA. Wallis tied his career-high with 27 points and 10 assists in a win at Rochester, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 10-of-11 from the foul line. Wallis followed that up with 16 points and four assists in a 65-56 victory at Emory in a battle of first-place teams. For the week, Wallis hit 54.2 percent (13-for-24) from the field, including 7-of-13 from three-point range, and 90.9 percent (10-of 11) from the free-throw line.
Irwin averaged 27.6 points per game in wins against Schreiner and Texas Lutheran. He scored 30 on 83.3 percent shoting against Schreiner and hit key free throws down the stretch to secure the win. Brandon then scored 25 against Texas Lutheran. He shot 19-for-29 from the floor and 14-for-17 from the line in the two games.
Pierce had back-to-back 30-plus-point games in a NESCAC weekend, with 32 at Wesleyan on Friday night and 35 at Connecticut College on Saturday. Pierce shot 61.7 percent from the floor and averaged 27.3 points and 9.0 rebounds for the week.
Bartlett's two monster games helped Pacific win their first NWC games of the season. He finished with 29 points and 18 rebounds to become the Boxers' all-time leading career rebounder and beat George Fox 72-69. He then had 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead Pacific to a 68-66 win over Pacific Lutheran. For the week, Bartlett averaged 28 points and 16.5 rebounds per game, connected on 61 percent from the field and 87.5 percent from the free throw line.
Sanborn averaged 27.5 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in Guilford's 2-0 week. He shot 75.9 percent from the floor and had five assists and four turnovers in 59 minutes. Sanborn hit for a game- and career-high 29 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and blocked four shots in a win against Roanoke, then totaled 26 points and 13 boards, both game highs, in Guilford's road win at ninth-ranked Randolph-Macon. He made 11 of 14 field goals and scored 15 first-half points.
Poirier averaged 25.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists over three games in a 3-0 week, including a school-record 37 points against New Paltz State. She shot 24-for-50 from the floor, 7-for-15 from three-point range and 22-for-26 from the line.
Muhlbauer scored a career-high 39 points in a win at Central and turned in a game-high 21 points in a win at Luther. For the week, she shot 23-for-43 from the floor, 13-for-13 from the line and averaged six rebounds to go with the 30 points per game.
Laing averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per contest in three Cortland victories. She started the week with 24 points and 12 rebounds in a win against SUNYAC leader Oneonta. She posted 24 points and 16 rebounds Friday in a win at Brockport and recorded 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals in a victory at Geneseo on Saturday.
Blair helped to a 3-0 week as the Greyhounds extended their winning streak to 13 straight games. She had a Landmark Conference-record 18 rebounds to go with 16 points and five blocked shots in just 21 minutes of a 97-63 win against Alvernia. She contributed ten points, three rebounds, a career high four assists and four blocked shots in a 108-70 win over Drew. Blair finished the week with 11 points and nine rebounds in a 82-61 win against the Merchant Marine Academy. Blair averaged 12.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocked shots for the week with just two turnovers in 65 minutes.
O'Connell scored 18 points including the game-tying and -winning free throws with 17 seconds left in a win against 12-4 Rivier. In a loss by five to 12-4 Daniel Webster, O'Connell had a career-high 23 rebounds and tied a career-high with 19 points. She shot 60 percent from the floor over the week and averaged 21 rebounds and 18.5 points a game to go along with three blocks and four steals for the week.
